More Things- Nbrs 30 and 31

Somewhere between RSS feeds, Delicious tools, and Twitter, I wanted a better way to link one blog post to another. Still haven't found a way for a Blogger sidebar link item to open in a new window.

What I did find was Citebite. http://citebite.com/

  1. Highlight text in a blog post.
  2. Copy and paste to the text block in Citebite.
  3. Copy and paste the url for the blog where indicated.
  4. Click the button "Make Citebite".
  5. Copy the result, a new url created by Citebite.
  6. Paste the new url in the body of the post you are working on, or create a new sidebar link and paste it there.

Citebite works like tinyurl, except you can use Citebite to point to a specific quote.

Did you know if you highlight the text you want to make a link in blogger, then click on the add a link icon, paste the link in the box that pops up (and save it, I think)the words you highlight will become a live link and you won't have to have the link address actually show up in your post?
